Field Test / Pyrenees edge / mixed gravel and road
La Cerdanya Weekend Field Test

The test started with a simple question. Can the carry stay light, stable, and easy to adjust while the route keeps changing?
We rode a short loop with gravel, exposed climbing, and long descents. The focus was how each carry position behaved once fatigue and weather started to change the ride.
Section
System behavior under repeated transitions
The most useful pieces were not the ones with the most capacity. They were the ones that reduced hesitation during short stops.
A stable bar-mounted bag kept nutrition, gloves, and tools in the same visual field. That reduced decision time when the surface changed.
Section
Material notes from the route
Materials with lower visual noise worked better in mixed conditions. Scratches, dust, and water marks stayed readable without making the object feel worn out.
Rigid backing and matte trims also mattered. They kept the bag shape stable and made interaction points easier to find with gloves.
