Weekend Prototype Checklist

Before any field ride, a prototype should pass a simpler test. Table handling. Repeatable attachment. Immediate legibility.
This checklist records the questions we ask before a piece is allowed onto a real route.
Section
First-contact questions
Can the object explain itself without a manual? Are the opening points obvious? Does the closure feel clear rather than vague?
If the answers are unclear on a table, they will not improve during a roadside stop.
Section
From studio order to route order
A prototype needs more than durability. It needs a clear rhythm between access, storage, and attachment.
That rhythm is what turns a promising sample into a real product direction.
