Osaka Rain Loop Notes

Not every field test needs distance. This one stayed in the city and used rain, traffic lights, and repeated stops as the test condition.

It was less dramatic than a mountain route. It was more useful for understanding daily use.

雨の都市路面。
Dense city movement exposed how quickly access patterns become frustrating when closures are overbuilt.
夜の都市風景。
Reflective accents only mattered when placed near real interaction points and moving edges.
テクニカルバッグのイメージ。
Compact silhouettes worked best when the weather forced the ride to alternate between bike and hand carry.

Urban conditions are a separate design brief

Stop-start riding rewards bags that reopen quickly and return to a clear resting shape. Excess hardware becomes noise on short routes.

This session clarified where cycling logic should stay strict and where urban carry can loosen slightly.

Wet handling observations

Water resistance mattered. Surface behavior mattered too. Smooth matte surfaces shed grime more easily, while tactile trim kept pulling points clear in low light.

Small drainage decisions and closure discipline made more difference than broad claims about waterproofing.
